About This Site

Finding a recent Citrus County arrest requires knowing which official system answers the question. This private guide brings the sheriff’s report, custody contacts, court search, and records-request path together. It does not host mugshot galleries.

Why This Guide Exists

Florida makes many arrest and booking records public, but the records are divided among agencies. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office publishes the arrest report and accepts requests for booking records and photographs. CoreCivic operates the Citrus County Detention Facility, the Citrus County Clerk records later court activity, and the Florida Department of Corrections publishes profiles for people in state prison or under state supervision. We organize those official routes without republishing anyone’s photograph.

What Readers Can Find

The site explains which source fits each stage of a case:

  • The home page covers recent arrests, custody checks, warrants, booking-photo requests, and Florida removal law.
  • City guides explain why Inverness and Crystal River arrests are generally handled through the Sheriff’s Office and county detention facility.
  • Separate guides distinguish Arrested Today, the Arrest Reports, and VINE Arrest Check.
  • Request instructions explain how to identify a booking record or photograph and what processing limits to expect.

Limits of This Site

This privately operated reference site has no affiliation with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, CoreCivic, the detention facility, the Florida Department of Corrections, or any government agency.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for anyone.
  • We cannot provide legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that a listed phone number, fee, address, or online record is still current.

Only the responsible sheriff, detention operator, court, or corrections agency can confirm custody, charges, release, or case disposition. An arrest records an accusation, not guilt, and every person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
